What Are You Expecting?

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
Romans 8:28-29 KJV
I never saw these verses in concordance before, like I did this morning!
What a blessed and comforting Hope we have through these verses!
God has a plan!
He has a specific and purposeful plan for each of us and no plan is alike except in one area! That area is the Great Commission! Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature!
I believe God wants to do something impossible through the people of Freedom Baptist Church...through YOU...through ME!
In the meantime, He is working in and through us to conform us to the image of His Son Jesus Christ!
Everything He allows us to walk through is for this one purpose...to make us more like Jesus.
His plans are not to be mean and hurt us for the sake of a sick need to control us or because He’s bored and has nothing better to do!
His plans and purposes are always good and filled with thoughts of peace toward us to fulfill our expectations in Him! He wants to give us that expected end according to His will for our lives!
What a wonderful place to live...in the will of God!
Big miracles often come after Big obstacles in the Bible!
I'm looking forward to BIG MIRACLES in 2021!
I am claiming that promise in Jeremiah that God will grant us that expected end! Maybe it will be souls saved and added to Freedom Baptist Church, or maybe a trumpet blowing and heaven with Jesus!
