Just Smile and Nod

While I walk, I listen to Bible reading that I read in my devotions earlier in the morning.

This verse jumped out at me for the simple phrase, “nor be afraid of them”.

As we go about taking a walk, or getting essentials we must be mindful that we don’t walk in fear.

People are beginning to look at each warily, like they are about to be assaulted or something!

As I walk, I see fear and speculation on people’s faces.

We need to be careful that we don’t allow fear to stop us from smiling, waving a hand, or giving a friendly nod. A smile can go a long way to brighten someone’s day, and it’s free!

It‘s also another way for us to be a light in this dark time! We are not THAT LIGHT but are sent to bare witness of that Light! What better way than by a friendly smile and/or wave! Let‘s try not to see our fellow humans as the enemy and remember; We are separately in this together! 😁

Be strong! Have courage!

God says He walks with us, whether outside or in a store. He promises He will not fail or forsake us!
